IMPORTANT: Response to the latest issues had by some customers

1. question: 6 months, system update later, and now a useless Android box

This worked initially, but after 6 months I finally said yes to the system update and now it will not provide me the option for connecting to the internet. Right now the box is useless. Don’t say yes to the system update if you get this box.

Answer: After receiving the prompt to update the system, please click ”Yes” firstly, then you should restore the box to the factory in the settings and restart the box.

2. This device is not easy to use. you have to switch between the curser and the analoge controles.

It is a common issue for most of android tv box that hard to navigate on some APPs using the remote, that’s because these APPs are mainly available for tablets and phones that have a touch screen setup or mouse. So in order to be more convenient to operate we are configured with a remote control and mini keyboard.

But when you operate it, you don’t need to switch between the cursor and the remote control very often, because many functions are available on the mini keyboard.

Note: If you need to turn on and off the cursor, please press the button directly above the number 1 on the remote control.

Warm Tips for Android TV Box:

1. The box keeps buffering or after using the TV box for a period of time the operation becomes slower .

a) First make the TV box close to Modulator as much as possible, then check if the channel is blocked, you can connect some devices on 2.4G and the TV box use 5G channel.

b) Clean up the memory, or just restore the factory settings in the settings, please note that you must clean up the memory regularly, too much occupied memory will also make the box buffering.

2. Can’t connect to wifi –In Settings->Device Preferences->Date & time->utomatic date & time, pls check if you open Automatic date & time with status to be on or not, if not with on status, it will has no wifi.

Pls note you can not turn on 2.4G wifi and connect tv box with ethernet cable at the same time, if you use 2.4G wifi, you need to take off ethernet cable.

3.Remote can’t navigate on some Apps or can’t use the forward and backward and pause function– This is because these apps are mainly available for tablets and phones that have a touch screen setup or mouse. So find a key on the remote control with the mouse printed on it, press it to indicate that the cursor is closed, and then use the up and down keys on the remote control to move forward and backward.（Some remote controls are set differently you need to press the button with the thick arrow above the number 1）

4.How to use the Keyboard–please note it has a usb receiver in the backside of the cover, open the cover, insert AAA batteries to the keyboard, insert the usb receiver to the usb port of the tv box, press ” turn on” button on the keyboard, then the tv box can receive the signal from the keyboard, and can control the tv box by the keyboard.

5.Keyboard layout is not correct–please try to repair the code for it, press FN firstly, do not release, and press FN+F1 together , after blue led light showing, release the keys, put in the usb receiver, after the blue led light is not flashing, it means the repair code is successful.

6.How to change the resolution–Pls close ” auto” function in resolution , then you can see 1080p and 4K option under 720*480p. and you can change to be resolution you want.(please make sure that your tv set is real 4K function, some tv set is only soft-ware supported 4K, then can not use tv box 4K function
